Few moments in safeguarding practice carry as much weight as receiving a disclosure or responding to a concern. In this free webinar, Leigh McFarlane, Director of Kaizen Safeguarding, shares practical guidance for practitioners across the UK and internationally on responding with confidence, clarity and compassion, without losing sight of their own wellbeing.
Drawing on trauma-informed principles, reflective practice and frontline safeguarding experience, Leigh will unpack why disclosures are so often complex and fragmented. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how people communicate harm, and why the way we respond matters so much.

Leigh McFarlane is a safeguarding leader, educator and consultant with over 25 years’ experience across education, faith-based, statutory and voluntary sectors in the UK, Ireland and internationally.
