Concerns about adult behaviour are rarely clear cut and knowing how to manage low-level concerns, when it becomes an allegation and who needs to be told can be difficult to judge in the moment.
Join Sharon Birch from the Safeguarding Network for a practical session on managing low-level concerns, staff allegations and staff safeguarding. Underpinned by Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) Part four, Sharon will draw on her experience of delivering allegations management training to help settings feel clear and confident about their responsibilities.

Sharon Birch is a Safeguarding Consultant, former child protection detective and author with more than 40 years' experience in safeguarding children and vulnerable people. She has experience across policing, education, the voluntary sector and consultancy.
Sharon has worked with the NSPCC, charities and national organisations in safeguarding leadership roles and owned an Ofsted Outstanding nursery recognised nationally for its inclusive practice. She has extensive experience as a family advocate, safeguarding lead and multi-agency trainer and is committed to promoting strong safeguarding cultures through collaboration, professional curiosity and evidence-informed practice, helping organisations create environments where children and adults can thrive safely.
