About the Presenters

Kevin Hartley
Senior Consultant, NSPCC

Kevin worked in secondary education for almost 30 years, initially as an English teacher, but later as a Pastoral Lead and then as a member of senior leadership.

For most of his career he has been involved in safeguarding and spent 12 years as a DSL in a busy, diverse 11-18 Academy. He has contributed to the development of policies and procedures at both school and Trust level.

Kevin has developed and delivered safeguarding training materials for new and experienced DSLs, for schools, MATs, and for organisations beyond education.

Sam Eustace
Product Manager, CPOMS

Sam has over 10 years of experience in working with children as both a qualified DSL and emotional health and wellbeing lead. His prior work in inclusive learning services and specialist behavioural roles has provided Sam with a wealth of knowledge and skills to draw on in supporting and advising educational settings with all types of needs.

Leading the CPOMS product team, Sam plays a key role in understanding the needs of educational settings and providing the best possible solutions for them.
