About this Webinar

Safeguarding must sit at the heart of work experience. From September 2025, the Work Experience Guarantee requires every pupil to access meaningful provision across KS3 and KS4, increasing schools’ responsibility to manage risk and protect vulnerable learners.

In this free webinar, Sarah Mintey MBE, Founding Director and CEO of Developing Experts, explores how to embed safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusivity into the design and delivery of work experience. Learn where risk most commonly arises and how to protect at-risk pupils with strengthened supervision, accountability and compliance.

  • What meaningful, appropriate and inclusive work experience looks like under the guidance.
  • Where safeguarding risks commonly emerge in work experience and how to design them out.
  • How virtual and hybrid models can act as protective tools while meeting statutory expectations.
