About this Webinar

Safeguarding is at the heart of every early years setting and getting the fundamentals right is key to protecting children, staff and your organisation's reputation. This free webinar with Sharon Birch, Safeguarding Consultant at Safeguarding Network, brings together the child protection considerations that early years providers need to remain compliant with KCSIE and EYFS.

Sharon will cover the day-to-day safeguarding areas that matter most in early years practice, from safer recruitment and allegations management to online safety and safeguarding culture. There will also be an opportunity to get your questions answered during the live Q&A session.

  • Best practice for safer recruitment, allegations management and staff conduct.
  • How to embed safer sleep, food safety and online safety into everyday practice.
  • Essential steps to build a strong safeguarding culture and prepare your setting's policies and procedures for inspection.
