From supply staff and contractors to external professionals and volunteers, education settings manage a constant flow of visitors. Yet in many cases, visitor processes remain separate from safeguarding systems, creating gaps in oversight, accountability and workload management.
This practical session will explore the often-overlooked link between safeguarding and visitors, and how education settings can strengthen practice by bringing visitor management into the heart of their safeguarding strategy.
Sam has over 10 years of experience in working with children as both a qualified DSL and emotional health and wellbeing lead.
